'Hanging Out" wins an award
Last night Yvonne and I attended the opening of the Whitehorse Arts Association exhibition at the Chapel on Station gallery in Box Hill. I am delighted to say that my watercolour painting "Hanging Out" won third prize. I have had great fun and enjoyment from painting this series about early morning life on Lake Illawarra.
The judge commented that the painting presented a scene of tranquility and repose - a family scene.

ReplyDeleteI see you've also won an award for "Friends Forever", as a dog lover/owner, this one really tugs at my heart strings!
Thanks Laura,it was a great pleasure to make a gift of 'Friends Forever' to the owners of the dogs - they really loved the painting - I'm not sure what the dogs think ....
